About Us

The Taiwan Youth and Culture Association (TYCA) is an Australian youth group that aims to create a supportive community for Australian youths of Taiwanese background and those interested in Taiwanese culture. It seeks to facilitate cultural exchange between Australia and Taiwan, engage in community service and volunteering, and promote social responsibility. Additionally, the association conducts educational programs, workshops, and activities to advocate for and raise awareness about Taiwanese culture, language, history, and social issues.

臺灣青年文化協會（TYCA）是一個澳洲青年團體，旨在為澳洲台灣背景的青年和對台灣文化感興趣的人士打造一個支持性社群。該協會致力於促進澳洲與台灣之間的文化交流，參與社區服務和志願活動，並推廣社會責任。此外，協會還舉辦教育計畫、工作坊和活動，以宣揚台灣文化、語言、歷史及社會議題。

The association’s objects are to pursue the following purposes:

Create a supportive community for Australian youths of Taiwanese background and those interested in Taiwanese culture.
Facilitate the exchange of cultural knowledge, traditions, and practices between Australia and Taiwan.
Engage in community service and volunteering activities that benefit societies and foster a sense of social responsibility.
Conduct educational programs, workshops, and community activities to advocate, promote and raise awareness about Taiwanese culture, language, history, and social issues.
